Meet Daniel Lindbjerg
Daniel Lindbjerg leads Lindbjerg Chimney & Masonry today. He grew up in the trade, working alongside his father Henning on job sites across the Lower Mainland before the company was even founded.
He's been in the bricklaying trade for over 20 years and holds his Red Seal Certificate of Qualification.
When you hire Lindbjerg Chimney, Daniel is personally invested in the outcome. The same eye for detail and care for the work that Henning built this business on is what Daniel brings to every job.
How It Started: Henning Lindbjerg's Story
Henning Lindbjerg was born in Denmark and moved to Canada in 1974 with a Brick Laying Journeyman Ticket earned with honours, recognised with a Bronze Medallion. He spent the next four decades working in the trade, eventually leading site operations for one of the Lower Mainland's established chimney services before founding Lindbjerg Chimney & Masonry in 2012.
In January 2022, Henning passed the business to Daniel and his son-in-law Charlie Northup, staying on to consult. His brick hammer and trowel have been swapped for irons and drivers, which, by all accounts, suits him just fine.
Charlie Northup
Charlie brings a different set of skills to the business. Since 2008 he's worked as a technician, estimator, and manager in the HVAC industry, holding his own Red Seal Certificate of Qualification. Before coming into his role at Lindbjerg chimney, he trained under Henning. Charlie has a strong background in customer service and estimating, making sure jobs are scheduled, quoted accurately, and customers are looked after from first call to final invoice.
